The twins made a cameo appearance on Thursday. Their visit was so brief, I almost didn't get any photos of them!

The little girl came out of the natural area by the driveway first . . .

Very Gracefully!
Very Gracefully!
She stopped to look at the gate and went on into the brush on the right side of the driveway.

Then her brother, never far behind her, made his brief appearance . . .

Just like a bull moose in a china shop!
About as graceful as a bull moose in a snow globe!
He followed her into the natural area to browse.

Early Sunday morning, after another snow!

We drove down behind the house to do a little cross country skiing.

Afterwards, we took a drive up Fall Creek Road toward Wilson and on to Spring Gulch Road.

We spotted this handsome mule deer buck at Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis.

He looks a little more wild without the house behind him!

Then, we headed to Moose for lunch at Dornan's. No better place for pizza and a beer!

Their view knocks our socks off . . . every single time. No matter what the season.

Down behind the house, Don cross country skied and I walked so I could take my big camera!

The cygnet trying to take flight. It doesn't quite have it perfected, yet.

Once back at the truck, we headed further down Fall Creek Road toward Red Top (away from Wilson).

Wednesday we had errands to run in Jackson, so we stopped at The Bistro for lunch and this guy with his famous wife and kids showed up at the table next to us. Not a big fan, but still pretty cool to see him in Jackson. He did purchase the South Fork Lodge in Idaho a couple of years ago and it has been undergoing major renovations since. Hope to visit his fly shop on our next trip to Idaho Falls, in the Spring.

In case you haven't figured it out yet, that's Jimmy Kimmel.

After lunch, we took a spin through the Elk Refuge and spotted our first coyote of the year!

Lots of elk on the Elk Refuge, behind the Miller House.

Upon our return to Moose Point Lodge, we both went for walk since it had been days since the last trail grooming and the new snow had covered up the ski tracks.

Yesterday evening on our way into Jackson to have dinner with some friends at the Snake River Grill, I managed to take this photo of Nora's as we drove by. Mary Sue & Anne know the significance of THIS place!

And, in memory of our friend, Berte Hirschfield, we had dinner at her table last night.

Alan & Berte established and were owners of Snake River Grill. Berte passed away January 27, 2025. Her husband predeceased her in 2015. We attended her Celebration of Life in Wilson on February 10th.

Take good care and have a great weekend! And for those of of you that are snowbound after this epic snowstorm, enjoy the quiet time at home and be careful when you do decide to hit the roads. And remember, you can handle it, it's the other guy you need to watch out for!
