Our Last Week in Wilson - February 2023

But, it was nice and cozy in Moose Point Lodge!

And I spent a lot of time recording this swan. (I sent out short videos and photos earlier this year, but didn't want to omit it from this post.)

Had company in the yard the afternoon of February 25th -

I know . . . that's a lot of moose photos. But, it is Moose Point Lodge, you know!

We have a friend, who shall remain anonymous, that helped an elk get through the winter last year. Apparently, this big bull elk showed up at this persons cabin, looking thin and hungry. Our friend bought lots of hay and fed this guy most of the winter. In exchange, he dropped one of his huge antlers in the yard before he left in the spring.
